- Family: Jim is married to Lorraine Stutzman Amstutz. Lorraine is Co-Director of the MCC Office on Justice & Peacebuilding. Jim and Lorraine have three children Solomon, Jordan, and Leah.

- 2010-present: Pastor at AMC
- 2001- 2009: Co-Pastor at AMC
- 1994 to 2001: Senior Pastor, West Swamp Mennonite
Church, Quakertown, Pennsylvania. During this period of time
Jim also served as Interim Overseer, Franconia Conference
and Eastern District Representative to Commission on Home
Ministries.
